Makin 8 Radio

Well I just got off the phone with Scott Mesick with Makin 8 radio, and today, actually in about and hour and a half I will be on the show. Makin 8 is a website/radio show produced for the fans and I think it's a really awesome deal they have going on. Today Scott and I will be talking about the family business and what we have going on around here. I'm pretty excited and think that being on here will be a good opportunity! The business is booming and right now is time to show the fans what that we aren't just hear to provide some of the best bulls in the world, but to be involved with them as much as possible!
I've been so busy the past week that I have no had any time to blog, I apologize! Christmas was great!!!!! I got everything I ever wanted or needed and spending time with both of my families was great! The best part was giving my niece her presents, boy did she go crazy!!!! :) I ordered a lot of custom tooled leather this year from my best guy friend Kasey Vanhoose and my family loved their gifts! I got my dad come new spur straps and bracelets for the girls! I'll post some pictures of my Christmas. I hope everyone had a wonderful and Merry Christmas! Here's to a Happy New Year!

FiNALS WEEK

I have realized I have not blogged in a week, but I've been super busy! I'll start off with my weekend. Friday night I drove back home and went to Carrie Underwood with my mother, aunt, cousin, and a few family friends. She put on a great show, especially for being sick.
The highlight of my weekend was coming back west Saturday and then heading out to Killdeer, ND. I spend Saturday night and Sunday at my ex boyfriend's and had a wonderful time with him and his family. We watched the NFR, stayed up until 5 a.m. laughing and slept in with the cats and dogs. Sunday we rode snowmobile which was an interesting experience for me. I hadn't been riding since grade school so it was hard work for me. I tipped, got stuck, and did just about everything to make it as hard as possible. Wyatt, my ex boyfriend was probably thinking this was the worst idea ever, but it was a great time. We ate lunch and I watched him and his siblings(Lakken & Mason) fight, which was hilarious. I absolutley love spending time with them, they're are so much fun!
Sunday I came home to start preparing for finals week, UGH!!! Monday I had an Accounting final, today I had a Psychology final, and tomorrow at 8 AM I have a History final, HARD WORK. I didn't study nearly as much as I should have for any of them, but I sure hope my luck is in line.
Today me and my girlfriends went UGLY sweater shopping which was a blast. I bought 4 things at the thrift store and spent 15 bucks, expensive?  LOL......We're attending an ugly sweater party tomorrow so we had to prepare for the occasion. I managed to find a few "vintage" items that were AWESOME!!
I was planning to head home Thursday, but I'm thinking about hanging out at my apt for a few extra days, we'll see what happens.

NFR TIME!!!

Tis the season, no I'm not talking about regular christmas, I'm talking about COWBOY CHRISTMAS! The National Finals Rodeo is going on right now and it's time for a new set of World Champs to take the reigns! I'm super excited about the finals since we have three bulls there: Big Tex, Chick n Fried, & Yellow Jacket Junior! I also filled out a fantasy pool team and I'm really excited about my team. After round one all my pics placed in the round and my barrel racer won the round WHOOPA! I'm really hoping to at least make my twenty bucks back with my pics!
Well today I drove 100 miles from home to my apartment because I had to go home and get a truck last night. Well the reason I had to go get a truck was because I got in a car accident yesterday and my airbag blew and there's some damage to my car. I was driving and a girl pulled out in front me me and I wasn't able to stop. Luckily, both of us were not seriously injured. About an hour after the accident I made the decision to go to the hospital and get checked. The doctor said my x-rays looked good, but I would be very sore the next few days. They prescribed me pain pills, muscle relaxers, and a new inhaler. The airbag releases a substance called talc which is hard on the lungs, especially to someone like me with asthma. All in all my car isn't totaled, we were both okay, and I finally got a 4 wheel drive which I have needed the last 2-3 weeks.
Tonight is the second round of the NFR and a couple of my friends and I are getting some wine and watching it together, should be a great night. I'm pretty excited to watch my team and we have the first re-ride bull out tonight, which I would like to see no re-rides, but if so GOOO CHICKN FRIED!!!

The Next Few Weeks

Well I'm finally back at my apartment and it feels good to be back here where it's nice and quite. My roommate got back shortly after I did and we have just been laying around, which has been awesome! Both of us spent our weekends at home and had an enjoyable thanksgiving! I'm so thankful to have a roommate that I have so much in common with and get along so well with. Jori is my roommate and she's from Halliday, ND. Jori's dad Brad is a 4 time Champion Saddle Bronc rider and qualified for the NFR 10 times, so just like me the sport of rodeo runs straight threw her veins! Jori, her brother Kane, and sister Halie all high school and colleged rodeo'd and they are pretty badass!
There is so much more snow here at school then at home and driving conditions aren't so easy! This weekend while I was home I bought a new North Face jacket and I absolutely love it!!! Tonight I'm watching Sarah Palin's Alaska and this show is awesome and a person gets to see some neat stuff! I should be working on homework since I have 2 powerpoints, 3 papers, and 1 online assignment to do OHHHH BOYYY!!! It's going to be a busy next few weeks, bring on finals!!!
I had a wonderful weekend back at home, it was great to see my family, friends, dogs, & bulls! :D

THANKFUL!

I hope everyone(like so many people read this) had a Happy Thanksgiving! My family and I sure had a great one! I started off my thanksgiving by going to the gym, which started my day off right. I headed to Bismarck and went to my mom's family thanksgiving just for an hour and then headed to home to go the Berger Ranch! This the place I remember spending more time at when I was younger. Being at grandpa's ranch is very special to me because some of the best bucking bulls to ever buck were born there and came from his ranch! It's so neat to see all the offspring from rank bulls & mean mommas!!

Last night after thanksgiving with the Berger's my cousin JJ, my sister, & I went to the movie You Again, which was actually pretty funny. After the movie I came home and spent the evening with my mother, father, and my beautiful niece. Having a niece is one of the greatest gives I've ever received, she's like a little version of me and she's the most darling little girl ever!

Today my mom and I spent the day playing with her and enjoying our time together! Mom bought a tube type sled and we took her out in the snow to play, but she was afraid to sled. Tonight I'm going to dinner with my besttttest friend Jess & another friend Chelsi, can't wait! :)

I woke up this morning to the sound of my Blackberry making a sound every 10 seconds! I had texts, emails, facebook posts, & missed calls....HAPPY BIRTHDAY! Today is my 19th birthday and so far it has been an excellent day. My roommate Jori, & my too girls Syd and Skye got me a wonderful prestent, 2 of the 3 items I'm wearing right now! I also got my car stuck this morning and two men with a bobcat on their trailer helped me out! I was soooo thankful! Also, Jori made me cupcakes!!! :D
I've had so many people wish me a happy birthday I feel very blessed! Tonight were going to Applebee's(yuck I know, but there's 3 restaurants here and my favorite one isn't open on Monday's). A few of us are going to go there for dinner & then go to the boys for card night!! Tomorrow we plan to party biggggg! and Wednesday home for the weekend!
So to the few of you reading this, hope your day is as good as mine!

HOME

Well, I'm finally back at my apartment and let me tell you it's good to be back! I went back home Friday afternoon and had the best weekend home in along time! When I rolled into town I ran straight to the mall and got my mother a birthday gift(camera accessories) for the camera her sisters bought her! I picked up some shrimp from Red Lobster and headed to the house. When I got home my sister, mother, brother, & I started drinking and then when dad got home we all went to the bar, which was a blast.
The next day we prepared for a wild night and my moms 50th birthday party! The party was a total success besides people having to leave early due to the weather. It was great to see all my family and friends, but today I am paying for it. A good time was had by all.
Well I just did some homework and am now going to relax with my girls.

ohh i forgot to mention i just found out a girl ive known my whole life is going to be on a tv show on TLC starting dec 5...its called Bamma Belles, check it out!!

Well here I am blogging! My best friend Jess started blogging sometime in October and I realized I love reading it, so why not write my own. I feel like this will make catching up with me a lot easier since I tend to never get back to people....OOPS :) 
I've never really been into reading blogs or posting them, but again I have Jess to thank for that. So today I've had what I feel like has been a very good day. I woke up, went to class, the bank, the post office, the gym, & took a nap. Once I finish writing this I will go work for my uncle & do his paper work. So like I said i went to the gym....well I just joined Anytime Fitness and I really love it there! It's a great environment, good equipment, and lord have I missed working out!!!!
I'm going home tomorrow to celebrate my mother's 50th birthday!!! I can't even believe she's 50, she doesn't seem 50 to me at all, gosh she seems more like 35! Saturday we are going to celebrate and have a HUGE party in our HUGE shop!!! I can't wait to see all our family and friends.
Well it's time for me to run, I have to go get my uncle KFC and get to work!!
